Happy Father's Day!

Father’s Day is a great time to celebrate fatherhood and male parenting. Every year, the meaning of Father’s Day changes as we progress in our daily lives. We as individuals often buy gifts for dad, take our fathers out to eat, or make homemade cards with funny pictures to show our dads just how much we care.

During this time, everyone should take this wonderful opportunity to express his or her respect, appreciation, and love for your father on this special day. The Washington DC Dragon Boat festival is a two-day festival held along the Potomac River May 17 and 18, 2014. Four boats painted to resemble scales in hues of green, red, blue and yellow sporting dragon heads and tails of blue.
