Military Family Month

As we approach, November 11th, the Army Community Service (ACS) is using this month’s blog post to recognize our Veterans and acknowledge the wonderful Families that stand behind and support their Family members in Active Duty.

Every November is declared as the Military Family Month. The President signs a proclamation declaring a one month long observance honored by the Nation and the Department of Defense. Click here to read this year’s proclamation.

Noted as a special time to honor the loved ones of Veterans and those in Active Duty, ACS appreciates the Military Families and will highlight November’s ACS events and community-related deals and discounts for the Military Community.

ACS programs and services are available to Active Duty, Reserve and National Guard, Family Members, Retirees and Civilian Employees. Our goal is to equip you with the skills and resources you need to face the challenges of military life.

Refer to the ACS November Training Calendar for upcoming classes and events:
The ACS building is located on 202 Custer Road, Building 201 and is open Monday through Friday from 0730-1600 (closed on federal holidays). For more information or to register for any classes or events, call 703-696-3510.
